Pregnancy & Pilates:
your questions.
Can I do reformer Pilates while pregnant?
Pilates may be an option during pregnancy, but what’s appropriate depends on your health, pregnancy, and exercise history. Discuss your plans with your obstetrician, midwife, or other pregnancy healthcare professional before starting or continuing. Our instructors offer exercise guidance—not medical advice. Many clients continue throughout pregnancy, with modifications becoming especially helpful in the second trimester.
Do I need to contact the studio before booking?
No need—book any class on the schedule as you normally would and tell your instructor you’re pregnant or postpartum before class. If your healthcare professional has given you specific restrictions, just mention them then.
